We’ve a really short news
flash for you this week

as we ease ourselves in,

to some really exciting
developments for 2022.

Let’s get in to those updates.

First up,

let’s talk about a feature
that helps creators

to understand performance
trends across similar videos.

Now, this is recently launched

and you’ll find it within the audience

advanced analytics tab.

Now, what you’re gonna find in analytics

is a scatter plot analysis

that shows of videos, hours and days.

This has been a proven method of analyzing

videos performance trends.

But what we’ve added now with this feature

is a new interaction, that
highlights videos similar

to the one suggested
based on their topics.

That’s the only feature we have to

walk you through this week.

This next part is your quest for you.

It’s a new year and a new chance for us

to improve the content we produce for you.

The channels always been
hosted by volunteers

from the policy team

as well as the product teams at YouTube.

And what happens behind
the scenes every week

is that fabulous producer, Lauren,

gathers as much information as possible

from those teams about updates

that are going to impact creators.

But what we want to do is check in

to make sure we’re touching on subjects

that you’re genuinely interested in

and find useful.
