changes the video quality

Data saver has lower picture quality,
but videos can start faster

and buffer less often.

Advanced allows you to set
a specific quality resolution.

After reviewing your options,
select your preferred video quality.

If you want to change
the default video quality

on the mobile device you’re watching,
follow these steps.

Tap your profile picture in the top right.

Then settings.

Select video quality preferences.

Set your preferred video quality
for when you’re on a mobile network

and for when you’re on WiFi.

Note, you can set a specific
quality resolution as a preference

because YouTube videos are uploaded
at different resolutions.
