’cause if it’s Tuesday, it’s news day.

Let’s get into this week’s updates.

Now, first up, I want to
talk to you about a bug

relating to cross channel live redirect.

Well, a few weeks ago,
we mentioned the launch

of cross channel live redirect,

which allows creators with
over a thousand subscribers

to redirect their live
audience to channels

that have approved them.

We’ve seen reports of live
redirect not working correctly

when using the subs only
live redirect setting.

So we’re temporarily removing this option

while we focus on fixing things.

You’ll be able to manually add channels

to your approved live redirects list

if you wish to redirect to a channel.

The setup steps haven’t changed,

and are laid out on our help center.

We’ll keep you posted as we
continue to work on this bug.

Up next, I wanna talk to you

about a mobile data story experiment.

As you know, we’re always
looking for ways to help creators

better understand their
data and performance

in YouTube analytics.

There are tons of metrics available,

and we know it can sometimes seem complex

and hard to piece together at times.

We’re running an experiment
where we show some creators

a mobile data story card if
their viewership is dipping,

and ways to improve.

And finally, I want to talk you
through one last experiment.

This one relates to the
channel page navigation bar.

To optimize channel page navigation,

we’re running an experiment
to move the navigation bar

from the top of the screen

under the creator profile on mobile.

This will help viewers to stay in context

of the channel better,

and provide easier access to subscribe,

membership join, and the store.
