— During certain times of the year

or maybe special events in your life

the last thing you want to feel is

tied down to your YouTube channel,

waiting to hit publish on a video.

There is definitely an easier way.

Let us show you how.

(musical chiming tones)

Hey TubeBuddies.

Today we’re tackling the topic,

how do you schedule your YouTube videos

to go live without you having to be there

so that you can get back
to living your life?

Now while the holiday season may of course

come to mind as to why you would want to

schedule videos ahead of time,

this also comes in handy if
you’re going on vacation,

or if you have a birthday or

some other special
event happening when you

might normally publish a YouTube video.

Many creators are fighting
the balance between

maintaining a consistent upload schedule,

but also trying to live their lives

and be with their loved ones during

special times of the year.

So we want you to be able to do both.

Now, if you’re on the
star level of TubeBuddy,

you’re going to unlock the ability

to schedule your videos,

and the best part is you’ll also be able

to schedule the very first comment

to go live at the time when
the video goes live as well.

So if you want to direct people to

another YouTube video,
a playlist, a website,

or some sort of affiliate
product that you’re marketing,

you could also go ahead
and put that in the comment

and it will be posted at the time

that your video goes live.

YouTube, if you do their
internal scheduler,

it does not allow this.

So you would really be missing out on

the opportunity to direct people to

another video or to a
link or to a playlist.

Another great benefit
of the scheduling tool

is that if you’re in a location,

which is not in the same time zone

or conducive to when most
of your viewers are online,

you can still go ahead
and schedule your video

to go live, based on the
best time to publish.

Information that TubeBuddy is gonna

be able to provide for you and still

put the first comment on it

when your video does go live.

So you can release your video at

peak optimum time for your viewers,

and you’ll be getting
views while you snooze.

Something a lot of
people don’t think about

when they’re thinking
about updating their videos

is also the fact that if you
had a video in late 2021,

go ahead and be published.

But that information is still good

in the beginning of 2022 or beyond,

you don’t mention the year,

you might actually want to go in

and update your title, your
tags, your description,

to change over from the
2021 date to the 2022 date.

You can also take advantage of TubeBuddy’s

ability to update your videos,

whether that’s going to be the tag,

the title or description,

at a specific period in time.

Now, if you want to see a calendar view

of all of the items that

you are going to be updating,

sunsetting, or perhaps publishing,

you can actually go under the
bulk and miscellaneous tools

and go to the scheduling section

and you’ll see a list of
all of your videos there.

I want to take a second and put on screen

the comment of the video.

Thank you so much for
interacting with our last video.

And if you want your
comment to be featured

in the next video, make sure
to comment on this video.

Another thing you could
do is actually utilize

TubeBuddy’s tools to update and
change the status of videos,

either in a playlist,

they can actually be sunsetted
or actually taken down.

You can change the privacy to unlisted

or to public or to
private at any given time

with this bulk tool.

Now whether you’re looking to change

the privacy settings of multiple videos,

update your video’s metadata,

or even publish videos with or without

that first comment enabled,

I think you can see that
using TubeBuddy’s tools here

is going to allow you to spend less time

inside of your YouTube channel

and more time with those
that you choose to.

Thank you so much for tuning in with us.

We’ll see you in the next
one TubeBuddies, bye.
